He's basically asking how much has he OC'ed without changing voltage, since he doesn't know the basics of oc'ing.
And yes, overclocking is a bitch in climates like philippines, india, middle-east etc..
Because of ridiculously high indoor temps (even up to 32-40c or more with poor air conditioning in the mid-far-east during summer) overclocking much past the stock frequency becomes impossible without liquid cooling since the hot air wont be enough to keep the cpu under reasonable temperatures.
So when he said
Quote:.... I don't know ABCD...or OC of overclocking,
he was basically saying "I don't know the basics of overclocking"? Because that's the part that confused me.
That's like...basic. You can't speak English if you don't know ABCD or alphabets.. Yeah..We are getting around 45-48 C in the summers.... Now rainy season has come, so mercury is down at 35-42 C.... Now I CAN attempt a overclocking atleast upto 3.1 GHz or 3.2 GHz... If I can't, I will have to wait for winters, where it will be around 20-25 C..
So, no fermi for me....

now....
Wow, those are some high temps for summer. I'm guessing your in southern india since I would imagine northern india would be a lot cooler due to the elevation.
Well since i'm back i guess i should push my posts to 200, i'm gonna have to go with Intel i'm afraid, never had an AMD, Intel have never failed me....except when i accidently killed my parents Pentium ^^;;; (forgot to plug heatsink fan back in....).
Must say i'm leaning towards AMD CPU's instead of an i7 (come on i7 is just a quad core REALLY! it just has fancy hyperthreading) xmas time, they definatly seem the cheaper option, gonna need to upgrades from my quad soon anyway, dunno how much more punishment it can take lol.

Well, if you listen me (you can only read) that's NOT TRUE...I live in Kota, which is on the upper side of Tropic of Cancer. But the temperature is too hot here for past two years, that's because GLOBAL WARMING!! I think so, because when I came here 4 years ago, it was NOT that hot. I was like wheatish in skin complextion when I came, but now, I am more brownish... But that heat attracts monsoon which we are experiencing here in the town for past few days. The climate is pleasant, but humid too...We are confined in homes since March.
If anything that is urgently important like my school, my resonance (that's my coaching) or going to the market daily,(yes, we all go to market daily, we don't have large fridges, we don't need them

), then we leave home, or else we are soaked in sweat... but we are enjoying taking BATH in RAIN...
So, I can now try to overclock my CPU, but I think it don't matter with dolphin since my GPU is lame. Do you agree with me too..???I think yes.

this whole part of the forum is meant for anything not /gc/wii/dolphin related
INTEL > AMD
THANK ME LATER
OK... I'LL THANK YOU LATER...(OR NEVER IF YOU ASK ME..
