the settings are the defaults of the new version and I've tried switching it around just like this thread starter.
You're really out of place trying to tell me not to bump an old thread. It was never fully resolved, I have the same problem and I found this thread from searching. How about you stop acting bad, if we're handing out commands here.

yeah raising the internal resolution fixed it. Seems like my graphics processes differently than a Wii, but it looks pretty dandy now.
