I posted screenshots from an actual Wii, the first shot looks more like the the game running on an actual Wii than the second does, the second shot looks darker than on the actual Wii, due to improper/inaccurate shading. The shaders are more accurate now than before, in case you don't know what is meant by accurate, in means it functions like it does on a real Wii now.

As for your problem outlined in your screenshots, it seems to be caused by this revision:

It seems to only happen with Copy EFB -> Ram enabled, so the short term solution is to use Copy EFB -> Texture until the developer is able to fix it. Wink

In regards to the op, try playing around with the color levels for your monitor and video hardware, also try adjusting some settings in Dolphin. Even though the first screen looks a bit brighter, it is still more accurate. The issue might be related to improper blending as I've mentioned before, if that is the case, the only thing you can do is use OGL for now until a DX10 or DX11 backend is coded for Dolphin..
well that sucks for those of us running windows XP and only have the option of DX9 ):
Well you can use OpenGL..

And yeah, it does suck for those that decide to stick with an old outaded OS, but that is the cycle of development. While people are stuck in the last decade using outdated operating systems such as XP, developers are moving forward with coding for modern operating systems and coding around modern API's. If development didn't move forward, projects such as Dolphin and PCSX2 would be stuck using DX6 forever and games would look like shit. Eventually emulators will move on from using DX9 for a rendering backend to using DX10 and DX11, but by the time that happens, most people would have already moved on from using XP to using Windows 7 or whatever else is on the market at the time..

Also, implementing a DX10 or DX11 rendering backend wouldn't mean XP/DX9 users would be eliminated from using the emulator, just that they wouldn't benefit from the improvements that DX10 and DX11 would have to offer due to limitations of the DX9 API.

Btw, I tested a bit further and I did notice the graphics were a bit bright and discolored compared to the game running on an actual Wii. Despite being slightly discolored and bright, the first screenshot is more accurate than the second. I informed rodolfo of the issue, hopefully he'll be able to fix it, he seems to be quite the graphics guru for Dolphin. Wink
in dolphin r5619 the game has bad graphic colours in direct 3d. It´s fastest then the last versions , but now the graphics have a type of dark circles in the places we supose to enter the levels.

i think the problem is the shadows but in level game you can see the mario has a type of sepia filter that turns him a little more "yellow". my r5619 is good so this isn´t because of drivers.
thanks and keept the good work

You are right . ive noticed this too
