hello im new to the forum i know my pc is capable of running dolphin but super smash bros melee is running really slow i tried the performance setings listed here: http://www.dolphin-emu.org/performance.html and its still running at like 30 fps or slower with constant framerate dips please help thank you

your computer is crap.

oh yea im running dolphin SVN 5461-M

sorry i meant evga nVidia 9500 GT 1GB
Try disable Hyper Threading in your bios(press Del when booting then config)
Your CPU has 1 core only ->slowdown the speed even you have a good graphic card
Recommend: Dualcore and 2 duo above 2.4GHz
Nice: i3,i5,i7 or AMD phenom Black edition
