You will no longer have to worry about that problem using the link to my main site. In fact, there is no longer an option to use a "backup site."
My site now checks to see if the server is up before redirecting you to that server.

np

working on building latest...
EDIT: r6890 is up and ready for
download!
thanks for all the work on building these

any chance of the building the revision 6897? Very good was applied there

cheers

I'd like to use one of these optimized builds, but I don't know which to use - CPU-Z says my processor supports SSE, SSE2, SSE3, and SSE4A, and I want to use the best one, but your builds are SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, and SSE4.2. When I load a game in Dolphin, the yellow test only says SSE, SSE2, and SSE3, so I assume this means Dolphin doesn't support 4A?
If it helps, here's my CPU-Z dump:

Edit: Also, the "dolphin builds" link on the "no flash" version of your page are broken.

You are correct, none of my builds are compiled with SSE4A. Actually, I don't think it matters what build you download if you have an AMD CPU. You should get a speed increase over mamario's builds, but that would only be because of the other code optimizations I apply when I compile. I'm pretty sure that because I use the /Qax switch to determine the SSE set, the SSE set enhancements are only used on Intel CPUs (when the program is run on AMD CPU, it defaults to SSE2 aka Regular).
I will be opening BETA builds that are geared more toward AMD CPUs soon. Hopefully that will yield some good speed increases for AMD users.
If you download the SSE4.1 and SSE4.2 builds and they crash or don't run, let me know because that would mean I could be wrong.

Thanks for letting me know. Fixing...
EDIT: Should be fixed now.
Hm. I'm not really seeing any performance improvement. I suspect I'd need better hardware for it to make much difference at this point anyway.
Oh well, thanks for making the builds, at least for the people they do help.
so sse3 does not work on amd phenom2?
i have been wasting my time waiting for your sse3 builds XD lol
btw mamario build are the ones in the dolphin page?
very dissapointed to hear that, well still i play perfect on regular build but using sse3 would be nice

Mamario's builds are the ones on the main site.
Like I said, theoretically my builds should be faster even on AMD CPU. The SSE sets are not the only optimizations I use.
Why disappointed? This just means there's room for more speed increase for AMD users

dissapointed because you said sse3 is not used in amd, or did i hear wrong
anyway thanks for your builds,
btw your website is bad since the latest svn, i can't download, sometimes it does not load well, does not show me megaupload links, etc, tested with firefox and chrome, with javascript, etc
