Try disable "Dlist Caching" in video plugin options.

1000 revision old fifo does not work with the latest revisions. The latest revision it is compatible with is R5680. You can find it under "Special Builds"
I'll see what I can do with the donkey kong jungle beat sound patch.

Also alot of the maps sometimes crashes, no idea why.
What would be the best revision to use thats fairly new but has stability?

Sorry, no can do. I don't have a compiler that compiles SSE4a. That, plus the fact that sse4a only has a few instructions anyway. If it was faster than SSE3 it would be a negligible difference.
