and some older.
Yes. I did compile the same rev from original code for testing.
What's your computer specs? (Processor, GFX, OS, etc.)
Please! I beg of you! Can you make a build that includes the new Naruto Shippuden Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 patch?
You can find it here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?g7h64a6gcbww70u
Supposedly it removes all the black textures (not just the special effect ones) and hopefully fixes the slowdowns. It also has a slightly different interface.
I tried applying the patch but failed with some errors. Could you please make a x64 build? >< I would be so happy to have it with that patch. SSE 4.2 would be awesome :/
Anyone that can explain the difference between all the SSE instructions? I have tried S3 and 4.1 which according to CPUz that my E8400 supports but I see no difference, perhaps different between the regular but I haven't checked.
i'm about to try your regular build (i'm using the r6198 x4 sse4.1) and the official to see if the issue i'm experiencing with fire emblem: radiant dawn persists.
dolphin is crashing frequently (not all the time though) when the supports trigger in battle. this is the message i get:
"Error: trying to compile at 0.LR=80254a30"
Dude you'revs are the best! I'm trying Metroid Prime 3 on r6205, never saw this games run so well and fast on any other revs i've tried.

Actually I've been working on this one for a while. It won't work in the newest revisions. I'm trying to find the latest one that this one works in. I'll try to get back to this once I have time.
In the meantime, I did build R6169 with the patch. You can find it at
my site. You'll have to select "All Special Builds" from the drop-down list.

I have yet to try configuring extended pair-up so I can't confirm that Dolphin crashes yet.
I have ZTP and tested DX9 and DX11 (I can't test OpenGL nor OpenCL). I didn't notice any difference in the way the portal was rendered between the SSE version (tested SSE4.1) and the regular version. I tested R6164. I'll try a more recent build and SSE3 once I have time.

Each new instruction set adds a group of instructions to those that are already existing. In theory, the later ones are faster because there are more instructions. Each instruction is like a shortcut. However, the speed of the program in question will remain the same as long as it is not using the instructions from higher instruction sets.
Number of instructions followed by the instruction set:
214 SSE & SSE2
+ 13 instructions = 227 total instructions available when built with SSE3
+ 32 instructions = 259 total instructions available when built with SSSE3
+ 47 instructions = 306 total instructions available when built with SSE4.1
+ 7 instructions = 313 total instructions available when built with SSE4.2
(Numbers from Wikipedia. The numbers may be slightly off but you get the idea)

Thx for testing! Have fun

i had to use an earlier build r6061, as anything after that causes a crash. what i noticed earlier and made note of last night when this r6061 crashed when a large graphic flash takes place at the start of the battle in part III, is that when playing FE: radiant dawn, cpu usage for me is 100% from start to finish, regardless of svn, which may be a factor in why these graphic events trigger crashes for me.
trying to suss out the cpu usage and comparing radiant dawn to other games, i came across an issue for arc rise fantasia using d3d9 in r6205 (black screen, broken) i'm going to see what's up with that later today with the vanilla, the newest vanilla, the sse4.1 and your regular build. edit: at first the sse4.1 d3d9 wasn't working despite having the same settings while the others were working, so i tried copying the config folder and that did the trick. i have to investigate more
I already have the R6169 build for naruto. But it doesn't fix the black textures/slowdown when you see the sun.
