i haven't tried the latest official svn (last one i used was r6159, no issues, just a bit slower). i'll check if i have the same issue with it as well
The 6152 build problems weren't due to bad compiling. I tested out the normal 6152 build off the dolphin site and had the EXACT same issues as this specialized build. Usually, if you download the right version your problems with the emulator are build wide and not soloely exclusive to Lectrode's compiling.
I always get higher performance out of Lectrode's builds over the normal one.
i know. r6159 was out around the same time so i used that to see if the issues i read about r6152 were still there and if it would crash on my system, which it didn't. so i was waiting on lectrode's latest build. unfortunately for me, i'm experiencing a different issue (just when the audio glitches for arc rise seemed to have improved). i'm still on r6137.
What's the best one to use with a Core 2 Quad? SSE3, SSE4.x or SSSE3?

Probably SSE4.2, but run
CPU-Z and see what the highest it can run is (SSE3 < SSSE3 < SSE4.1 < SSE4.2)
update: it's all good now. don't know what happened but my system and r6164 x64 sse4.1 are now co-operating with each other nicely. i didn't want to give up on this build and i'm glad i didn't.
if i didn't say it before, 'nuff respect and thanks
I don't know megaupload that much, but any reason the 4.2 version is 'currently unavailable'?
Edit: and it's there. small bad moment i guess <<

I have no idea why it's been doing that lately. It's done that a few times. It may be the number of people downloading it, or it could be the server. either way I have no control over it. ><
@Lectrode
i tested SSE4.1 build, i can play no error , just no good performance as SSE3
my cpu is support up to SSSE3. any ideas ?

If your CPU can only support up to SSSE, then it should not be able to run 4.1 as 4.1 has more instructions. My guess is that since it isn't crashing on your computer, either your CPU supports it, or it hasn't called any of the 4.1 instructions. If your computer doesn't support it, then when you run it and it does call a 4.1 instruction it will cause the program to crash.
