Were you using a different build like Mamario's or just a different revision before? Which builds and which revisions did you test?
If you were using a different build, the speedup was partially due to the SSE instruction set that these builds are built with and partially due to the dlist like turingpest said.

dose sse3 support other processer than intel ?

Link to R6152x64_SSE3 works for me...

My builds will run on both AMD and Intel processors. If you run CPU-Z on your computer and it says your processor supports SSE3 then my SSE3 build will run on your computer.

Does CPU-Z say that your computer supports SSSE3? If not, then the processor was probably sent an instruction from the SSSE3 instruction set that it didn't know how to handle.

You'll want the highest instruction set that your computer can handle (SSE3 < SSSE3 < SSE4.1 < SSE4.2). The higher instruction sets include all the instructions of lower sets.

oops! forgot to mention that Lectrodes builds are usually a bit faster aswellSmile

it supports all of them except 4.2. i usually use 4.1 but i try both just in case. i'll check the 4.1 today and see what happens.

by the way, is there any way to prevent the gc pad settings from effecting the wii control settings? (i.e. setting the Y and X button in gc overrides the wii control Y and X, resulting in the positions being switched). i'm curious, even though it's probably best for me to have to separate builds for wii and gc

If it crashes with SSE4.1 as well, I would try the regular build. If it crashes with the regular build as well, that means it is a problem with the source code and should be reported to the devs.

I always thought those were separate plugins with separate settings. If they're synced like you said, you should ask Billiard26 if they're supposed to be like that.
I wish to try the SSE 4.2 version....but the link doesn't work. Sad

I guess I can settle with the SSE3 version as someone had a megaupload link of it. Please fix the links! Big Grin

My builds are all hosted on megaupload. I tried the links on my site on multiple computers and they worked.

You're the second person who has had an issue with the latest download links. Where do the links take you when you click them?

here's 4.2 btw.
Thx. The original link I got from your site here:

http://electrodexs.net/dolphin-emu/default.htm

The broken link is as follows:

http://dolphin-builds.0sites.net/htm/%7BSSE42x64%7D

It is the x64 version. I tried all the other links too, however they don't work either.

This is the 404 I get when I click any of them:

http://0000free.com/e/404.html

Thanks for the megaupload link. I saw the one for the SSE3 build but none others, so I don't know where you got the megaupload links stashed. Tongue

Also note, the SSE3 build crashed when I was playing Zelda: Twilight Princess (USA Gamecube version). When I first entered the Death Mountain temple after beating the Goron elder in a sumo ranch, it crashed right as I entered the "temple". The Error report mentions that the dx9 plugin was the module that crashed. I will try to get back to the temple with the SSE4.2 version, but I suspect it will crash again, Then I will try running the OpenGL plugin instead when I get to the temple and once I'm in I might try the DX9 plugin again. My current video card (a Geforce 8400GS) probably doesn't support DX10 so I can't use the DX10 plugin which I hear exists around here somewhere. That and I don't think it would work even if I had the right card since I'm using Windows XP 64bit Edition and not Vista/Win7 where DX10/11 would have been available.

Try my backup server, it might work.
No go. I tried that and the download links on that version of the site go to the same place/or also lead to 404 pages. Also, I saw no crash in the SSE4.2 build when I went back to the Goron temple so I guess the crash was confined to the SSE3 version. Big Grin

EDIT: Found the problem. NoScript (a plugin for Firefox) was causing the issue. The site wasn't redirecting to the megaupload links properly due to NoScript blocking scripts on the domain host for the site/redirection site the links used. After telling NoScript to allow them, it worked. Big Grin

So note to NoScript users....Allow scripts on the site and it's host site for the download links to work! Big Grin

Try clearing your browsers cache. Then go to http://dolphin-builds.0sites.net/data/Dolphin-Emu_NormalBuilds.xml and press Ctrl + F5 and then go to http://electrodexs.net/dolphin-emu
