First of all, congratulations to Lectrode for your great job of making regular optimized compilations.
Yesterday I've downloaded from your site and tried revisions 5523 and 5804 both 32 bits optimized for SSE4.2, regarding to the 5523 rev I've downloaded the one with the FIFO patch. In both revisions the Direct3d plugin doesn't show up, only OpenGl appears. I've tried the exact same revisions build by mamario and everything appears ok with mamario's builds.
I've tried in 2 computers, both Intel i7 860 with 2 Giga ram, Windows XP SP3 32 bits, one with nVidia 8600 GTS video card and the other with ATI HD 5850. I've installed latest revision of directx in both computers (june 2010). I have the exact same result in both computers. This is very strange, am I doing something wrong? Why mamario's build works ok and yours don't show the Direct3d plugin? I'm very interested in your builds because you compile with SSE 4.2 optimizations. Is there something I can do to fix this?
Thanks

The only thing I can think of is that the DirectX might not have installed correctly on your computer. I would suggest uninstalling all versions of DirectX you have, and re-install the
latest DirectX runtime.
I know that the DirectX11 won't work on WindowsXP. Does the DirectX9 show up at all?
Also, try running one of my regular builds. They should be just like Mamario's except with a bit of a speed boost.
Let me know what you find out! Thx for testing!
Hi Lectrode,
First, thank you very much for the hard work! I have a question... would it be possible to have the FIFO patch to the regular compilations as a standard? I found this the only way to play Wii Sports Resorts without random freezes.
I found an SVN5643 with the patch here:
http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-9932-page-1.html but unfortunately I get kind of a light-blue semitransparent layer covering all the image while playing (DX9; X64). This problems is only with this SVN. Anyway... as revisions are advancing, it would be great to have this FIFO fix incorporated! I also noted some big speed-ups in other games with revisions with that fix.
Thank you very much for your time and dedication! Great job!

I tried patching the latest revisions with the FIFO patch you linked and got a bunch of conflicts. From what I could tell, a lot of the stuff in the patch has already been implemented (albeit, in a different but similar way).
I'll try to find the latest revision that has no conflicts and post my findings on here.
EDIT: It looks like R5691 is the latest one without conflicts when FIFO patch is applied. That's the latest I can build with that patch.

That would be great. I could test it later. It is a pity that the newer versions cannot accept the fix (or at least as it is in the patch today). Wii Sports Resorts, Mortal Kombat Armageddon and many more could be added to the "fully working" list! Yes, I know that on single core they work, but that's the difference of playing a video game or training with Marcel Marceau! hahaha
Thanks again!

Hey Lectrode!
I was wondering if you could upload the builds onto another mirror as well. Megaupload blocks access from Hong Kong

I think the build cannot link with your directx dll.
Add %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%; in your path variable in the system configuration environment variables if not exists.

I think you can use poxy to correct megaupload.
Or you can also use megaupload manager to download 3 files a day.
Hey Lectrode, can you compile an SSE4.1 optimized build for the latest revision using the following patch?
:Edit: Both 32-bit and 64-bit if you can please.

I shall do it as soon as I can. There's a couple requests ahead of yours. If my computer doesn't start messing up again, I should have it done in a couple days.
Thanks, but I might not need it in a couple days considering I will be installing the Intel compiler. I have to finish downloading the trial but my slow connection is giving me trouble and was hoping to give one of these builds a test run to decide if it's worth the effort to finish the download. I wanted to perform a comparison with the Hyrule Field speedup patch and StoreFromX64 removed for better speed.
