lol ~ could you take some time to test SSE4.1
SSE4.2's test speed up obviously...
thanks a lot ~
so... i am having a problem. i use the emu mainly to play mario kart... my issue is that in build 5739(sse4.1) i can set frame limiter to off and vsync to on and the speed of the game will show 300%-500% where my actual fps will only be 60 and the game will run at normal speed. now, with all other builds i've tried, when i set vnsync to on, the vps of the game is limited as well and i get only 75% speed... im confused.
i have attached screens if neone is interested..

That is the first time I've seen someone spell "anyone" as "neone." If you're gonna write shorthand why not just write "ne1"?

Someone said somewhere (I can't remember who said it nor where it was said. Very helpful I know lol) that vsync has not been working for a while now. It's probably the same with any other build of that revision and not something I can fix (unless someone made a patch).
So for some reason with your build i'm not seeing either of the dx9 or dx11 plugins when i'm configuring in the directory i can see that there is a dx9 and a dx11 plugin fil, any clue why i'm not seeing it btw i do so both of those is mamarios builds

To my builds to work correctly (aka for those plugins to show up) you need to have the
Latest DirectX Runtime installed (last update was in June 2010).
Hope this helps!

well the vsync option def seems to work. the issue is that it caps the vps at 60 too.... if i could let the vps do its own thing and sync just the fps... this is what happens in 5739, which is the only revision that does this (as far as i know). i dont think it is supposed to do it, but it really makes the emulator playable. i dont really understand why it makes the games so much more playable because the dolphin.exe uses the same amount of cpu regardless... neway...
here are some screens using 5739:

here is a screen using 5786:

all settings are the same for both. look how I'm actually getting the same fps in both of them but in 5739 my game is still running full speed, whereas 5786 is at 75% speed (slow motion). 5786 will achieve 100% speed but not until a minute or two into the race and then if my fps drops for any reason, the game instantly goes into slow motion. so there is a constant pull/push feel to all games.
just food for thought.
eh. i made a new thread about this.

what benefits does opencl bring. is it just faster? my 4890 is capable of opencl but i wonder if it's worth it.
i cant find dx9 in plugins on r5790

First, make sure your computer can handle OpenCL (you can find out with
this program).
Second, make sure you have the
Latest DirectX Runtime installed on your computer.
Hope this helps!
