Today, I managed to configure all plugins correctly to play Super Mario Sunshine(NTSC) at almost full speed.....
The only problem is the memory card. I don't have any memory card files in my dolphin folder (like MemoryCardA.USA.raw or something).
If I try to use the file called "SRAM.raw" that was the default memcard Slot A file, the game says it is corrupted and also fails to format it.
Oh and btw: I wouldn't have the problem if i was able to load saved states made with dolphin. When i try to save a state, it does it successfully. But the big problem is the loading. When i try to load the state, it seems just to do nothing.
I just want to save the damn game!
Those are my system specs
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit Service Pack 2
RAM: 2 GB
Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-58, 1900 MHz.
where do you have dolphin installed? o.o
The memory card is created when you run the game and it asks you to format the memory card, just choose yes.

Thanks! LoL when i tried to format i last time, it failed to. But this time, it suddenly successed!
That's good

!
I too don't get the memory card system of the gamecube. Until now I pretty much thought that it would work finally. I do have to memory cards: One seemingly for US games and one for European games (at least they are entitled like this automatically - if I try to change the names the cards completely mess up).
In the memory card manager some save files don't even show up (Resident Evil 0) but Ingame they do work perfectly. On the other hand some saves do show up but aren't recognized by the games.
What do I have to do.
I want exactly ONE memory card for slot A, where all my save files are, well, saved. I want that all games recognize that ONE memory card after saving, I don't want any data corruption .... and I want to use my three save files I already created.
Just to be sure: What should I do?
With the memcard manager at least I could accomplish to export the single .gci files. How do I create a new memory card? Games are supposed to do that on their own, right?
If so, can I safely import those .gci files?
Will all those files work even though they're mixed of US and EU savedata?
I do have an idea: Is it possible that I don't have to say the emulator which memory card it has to choose from? Should I just let it save, when it wants to format, let it format and it's just going to be alright?
I really need help - never had so much trouble in any emulator with any memory card. Wii Save for example works without any problem.
When i try to play Resident Evil for example,i cant format my memory card,i doesnt ask me to format it,just says that i need to do it,nothing appears even if i push any keys, what is the problem?
