Is there a way to make the FPS not go higher than 60 without putting frame limit on? I've tried having frame limit off but audio throttling on but that doesn't work

I ask because frame limiting reduces my FPS for SMG in areas such as the Observatory where I get full 60 FPS without it but about 35-40 with it on.
I'm affraid not...
That sucks. Seems like such an easy way to get full speed.

Try "Vsync" in video plugin options with "Enable progressive scan" in Wii TAB.

Good luck.
Never thought to try that since my refresh rate is 85Hz but, alas, no it does not work.
....don't forgot disable audio throtle and framelimit (OFF).

And.... What is your system? (CPU,GPU,etc), because 60 fps in the observatory(SMG, right?) is a very nice speed.
I'm trying to get the game slower; not faster Big Grin

My specs are: i5 750 with 3.2Ghz turbo clock (not constant sometimes it's 3.0), 4GB RAM, HD 5770
are you using the latest rev? i like to set the framelimit to 60 and then check off FPS. it works like a charm.
I'm using v2.0. What do you mean check off FPS? But, anyways, my problem is that setting a frame limit lowers my performance because of the time the CPU spends waiting for the next frame.
grab a newer revision, they added an fps check box next to the limiter. it works very well. oh and the latest revision fixed the eye problem in galaxy.
