I was looking in to getting a new graphics card for my computer and was wondering if this card would be good enough to run dolphin:
HIS HD 4650 Fan 512MB (128bit) DDR2 PCIe
Direct X10.1
OpenGL 2.1
Shader Model 4.1
7.1 Audio
I'm currently using an intel which does not run dolphin (no opengl or dx9 support) and have been looking to upgrade for a while. I believe dolphin can run on OGL 2.1, but will the DX9 plugin still work with this card?
of course
i have the radeon 3650 and i can play some games
Yup

!
HHHAAHAHAA
radeon 4650 is more than enough for it.
I had an ATI HD 2600 Sapphire card (ddr2 256 mb) I could play with this everything.
Why laughing, everyone starts from this point ya no :p.
haha, I thought so, I just saw it for 35$ though so I was being a little cautious!
The only problem is if it will work in my Pentium 4 IBM and whether I can fit into the limited space, but I think I might take the risk if it hasn't sold yet!
Look at the manufactures website of your motherboard, look if it has the same DDR version as the video card (sorry bad English)

.
if you wanna play dolphin, switch your processor first, the pentium 4 is a single core which
barely gets fullspeed on some games. also, who sais intel grafx doesn't support dx9 plugin?

well there's more reasons that I want to get a video card, and I'm not here to play dolphin I just want to run it for ripping models, studying things etc. I'm searching for my motherboard right now, hopefully it will be compatible.
Looks like I have an IBM 13R8930 Rev. 2.4, but I can't seem to find it's DDR. The graphics card is a DDR2 and the motherboards a 2004, but I'm not sure if it's would to work.
the grafx card does not have to be compatible in DDR, it must be compatible in socket, pci, pci-e, pci-e x16 etc. and u can use ur grafx card you have already for ripping models. your grafx card WILL work with dolphin.
update your directx runtime with the web installer, then switch from ogl plugin to d3d9 plugin.
