It crashes whenever i try to configure a pad, besides, the plugin is not even in list.
Details below.
Error message: error loading Plugins/Plugin_PadSimple.dll: can't read info
Error code: unknown
Version: 2962
Trying to run Shadow The Hedgehog, if that matters at all.
In order to configure it, I think you need to update Directx

ooh, man... Never thought that GAMEPADS use DIRECTX....

Thanks.
Some plugins are based on DirectX SDK and they also need an update from DirectX

LuisR14

that plugin uses DirectInput (which is part of DirectX (DirectX is a whole set of APIs (graphics, sound, input and some more)) Smile
DAMN. It STILL does not work.

That IS what i used.
Maybe older builds could work? Can you link me to the build which does not need this?

same here, i used that but i cant even select the padsimple plugin. the whole list for the pad plugins and the wiimote plugins is completely blank, even though there is a wiimote plugin and the padsimple plugin in the plugins folder.

LuisR14

ok after doing some testing i know what should be done Tongue

for the PadSimple plugin you have to have DirectX updated (and if you have done that then try the DirectX Redist), and for the wiimote plugin you put the dll in this link into dolphin's folder Smile

plus if you want the nJoy plugins to appear also (and you can't see it) then you must have SDL.dll in either you're dolphin folder or in the system32 folder Smile
