Seems it's having issues right now. It came back online a few hours ago, but now I am getting a 502 server error and the page doesn't load.

Gonna ask a newbie question but what do you mean googlecode? I've seen it brought up a few times but never knew what it was

googlecode was under some maintenance since 7:30 AM PST (but it's back now )

Googlecode is a code hosting service that hosts SVN, it's for developers to commit code and any updates to their code.

For example this is the official project page of Dolphin where the source code can be downloaded, any changes are committed to and serves as an issue tracker as well:

http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu

Normal it does that sometimes, it'll get fix sometime.
