Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi everyone,

I tried the new netplay stuff and I have some problems.
I connected my two pc-s with dolphin netplay at home and in both of them is working the game. But only in the pc that I pressed the Host button is working the gamepad. The other pc only reads and shows the game information, nothing else!!
Anyone has any idea how can I solve this issue??

BTW, I tried SSBM and MKDD, and I'm not sure if I have to play multiplayer or what!!

Remember to set on config->gamecube as many standar controller as players and to config them on the gamepad plugins. Config as many pad as players want to play.

do you have controller 2 setup in dolphin's config and the pad plugins' config?

I can't try just now, but I´ll try tomorrow.
I didn't have the second controller selected in config->gamecube, so I guess that's the problem!!

How well does Netplay actually work? Is it game-dependant? Very good, good, average, bad, worse, worst?! What do I need to do? Just saw it and am very happy about this

In my opinion netplay is working very good. The problem is that only support single core and can make it a bit slowly for many PCs.

I have got very little desync.
