im lucky my e2140 came as part of a combo with a ASRock system board which BIOS is set by default to overclock this cpu up to 2.6GHz without increasing voltage^^ it is a very good processor though, for the money it costs, and has great potential (some overclocks reaching 100% (3.2GHz stable) shame mine wont go past 2.775GHz) =)
Hello Everybody.
Thank you for good advises.
Of Course !!!
I'm don't need to aggrieve my computer.
Because I haven't got a lot of money incoming, I'm bad with computer engineering
And My father is dosen't recommended me to overclock any computer(s).
But I good at computer repairing.
I can upgrade my computer by myself.
Well I have got three plans I can do are:
Plan A : Save money from my luxuries spend.
Plan B : Get my game to my friend's labtop.
Or Plan C : Surrender !!!.

Please tell me, Which is the best choice for me Huh.
And the last, thank you for your advise(s) Blush.
its ok to overclock as long as you dont go over recommend voltages from intel, intel dosnt recommend you exceed 1.38volts for the vcore, qpi/dram volts(uncore volts) 1.35, dram 1.65volts, and CPU PLL 1.88v for the core i7. the great thing about the core i7 920 is that when overclocking to 3.8hz, is that it stays below the recommend voltages. I have my volts now at vcore 1.35, CPU PLL 1.84, QPI/DRAM 1.31, and Dram at 1.61volts with almost a 1600mhz speed. core 2 duo/quad volts are different and i recommend you look them up to get yourself more aquentided with them. as for your dads response saying its unsafe. overclocking has come a long ways since it was first discovered/practiced years ago. its a lot safer and more effective, although I would NEVER recommend overclocking a laptop as their is no way to give it additional cooling methods. GET A MOTHERBOARD THAT IS DESIGNED TO OVERCLOCK, you will not go wrong by doing this, unless you have a bad cooling system for your pc case, cpu, and motherboard.
