Please tell me
What I did worng with my computer ?
When boot the HARVEST MOON - MAGICAL MELODY [USA GC].
It's can't run the game on my computer.
My current system are:
CPU : Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2140 @ 1,600 MHz
RAM : 1024 MB DDR2
Video : Inno3D NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT @ 512 MB
Monitor: LG L194W @ 1440X900 Pixels
Mainboard: EGS P4M990T-M2
OS : Microsoft Windows XP SP2 Professional

But when rent my friend's labtop.
It's can running with around 25 - 40 FPS

His current system are:
CPU: AMD Turion 64 X2 @ 2240 GHz
RAM: 3078 MB (I'm not sure with type fo RAM)
Video: GeForce (I'm not sure 8400, 8300, 8200 or 8500) @ 128 MB
Monitor: (I don't know but I'm sure his resulotion is 1280X800 Pixels )
Mainboard:Acer Aspire (I can't remember version of it)
OS : Microsoft Windows XP SP2 Professional
Dolphin : Dolphin SVN R 2639 With OpenGL

Please reply to me if you can help.

My probelm is here :


Real Resolution is 1440X900 32bit

When I run HARVEST MOON - MAGICAL MELODY [USA GC] on my computer ,It's error everytime.
But when I run on my friend's labtop ,It's can play with 25 - 40 FPS on OpenGL.
What should I do ? Please tell me

-cough- update to SP 3 -cough- AND it might be that you have your configs wrong, or you are trying to run in DX

But don't work again.

I've test for many times.
It's work but had only 1 FPS.

Please ask me ,How do I can play with 25 of higher FPS ?

Be sure to have Dual core enabled in the options, Uncheck "Enable idle skipping" and uncheck "Enable other audio" under the audio settings.

It may also help to update your Directx and Video drivers.

Why uncheck Idle Skipping?

But ,It's little work (It's can run in + 0.5 FPS = 1.5 FPS).
Or my computer isn't designed for play games ?

-sigh- why do people think the monitor counts as part of your system spec? I mean seriously, the monitor is nothing but a display unit.....

Your memory is a problem and I'm sure your processor is the main problem. Updates for the win.
