All he's saying is that it's your risk, not the devs... and that when you download anyone's build listed here, it's being compiled by a NON-DEVELOPER. Meaning that they cannot guarantee the results as they could if they compiled and released it themselves. That's why they are called unofficial non-dev builds.
Update My post Dolphin 3942~rev4302 Big Grin (Windows only)
Ignore me if this question is painfully stupid but what exactly is the difference between all those different people's builds? O_o

Nothing much, except for the fact some member will have a new build uploaded before someone else does.

Also some members integrate patches into their builds. The only useful patch is the watchdog patch, however it's usefulness can be debated since I notice absolutely no difference in performance with the watchdog patch enabled.

The unlimited JIT cache patch/option is no longer needed since LinesPrower committed his JIT fixes and is quite useless now. auto frame skip is integrated into the SVN repository code base now, no need for a patch and is present on everyone's builds. Smile
Ah, alright. Thanks for the answer Smile So there's really not much of a difference it seems...
The only thing I can think of which is the only difference is that Unknownforce integrated a patch for the escape key in the D3D plugin, but that seems to have been integrated into the SVN codebase as well now since the emulator no longer close or crashes when the escape key is pressed in the DX9 video plugin. Nope, they still haven't changed it, it still exits the emulator.

have a look at http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/source/browse/trunk/Source/Plugins/Plugin_VideoDX9/Src/EmuWindow.cpp

Code:
case VK_ESCAPE:   // Pressing Esc switch FullScreen/Windowed
                                if (g_ActiveConfig.bFullscreen)
                                {
                                        DestroyWindow(hWnd);
                                        PostQuitMessage(0);
                                        ExitProcess(0);
That's strange because the past couple builds I compiled didn't crash when the escape key was pressed under D3D. Confused
With me it mostly doesn't crash, but sometimes it does...also it's a problem getting back into fullscreen then...and if I get there, the graphics seem to lack some filters or so...looks kinda pixelated then...
