Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

I have been looking through the files and noticed that there is an indiviual .ini file for each game that will allow you to override the General game settings on a per game basis.

Does this file ONLY allow you to override dolphin general settings or is it possible to override plugin settings aswell?

I tried adding the following line to nsmb:

[wiimote1]
Sideways = True

Unfortunately this always gets removed. If not currently possible it would be a great addition in the future to allow each game to be fully customisable instead of having to constantly use the menu system to change things.

Also, would it not be a good idea to have a user submitted .ini section so that people can upload preconfigured ini files for best performance of each game?

Why not just use the new plugin and create profiles for each game that's what I've done.
