Hello, looking into upgrading my PC. Looking at Core i5 750, and the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T.

Would like to know if Dolphin is multi-threaded to benefit from 6 cores, or even 4, 2?

If it does benefit how much of a speed increase could i expect going from 4 cores to 6 cores (if core for core they are equally powerful)

Thanks! Heart
It support only 2 cores
I don't think you will get much benefit from 6 cores with Dolphin.
The CPU emulation is handled on only one thread as far as I know.
in Dual Core Mode:
1 thread for CPU, 1 thread for Graphics processing.
They should make 1 thread for CPU, 1 thread for GPU and 1 thread for Sound Big Grin.
i think i have read somewhere that in the future dolphin will benefit from a 3rd core for LLE sound emulation.
There is already a DSP LLE on thread option and it's buggy, but I think it runs on the first core.
