I cant figure out how to connect my wiimote with the new plugin in Dolphin SVN R 5413
wiimote-new doesn't support real wiimotes yet iirc.
Nope, "Dolphin Wiimote New Incomplete" is incomplete. Tongue
It only supports emulated wiimote control right now.
Hey, just wondering if there's an update on this Billard. Your plugin is so much better than the previous (no offense) but the only thing it's missing is real wiimote support! Can't you just copy/paste all that code from the old one?? Tongue
Yes, there is real wiimote support now in the new plugin.
I wasn't going to just copy paste. :/ What would be the point of a new plugin then?
Ah, looks like it can be used. But only like this for me: I first have to "pair" it using the old plugin, then switch, then Dolpin crash, then reload your plugin (it's now paired and on), then load game but then the wiimote disconnects soon after game starts - 100% repro. Is any of this normal? I know it's "incomplete" but how incomplete is the real wiimote support on this? I can use the old plugin just fine, but this one is still currently unusable for me using the latest svn. Either it's broken or there's a setting off. Any ideas? Blush

Thanks!

Using MS stack also.
I have only used it with bluesoleil. Though another dev said it was working with the MS stack.
You could try Tools -> Connect/Disconnect Wiimote 1 x2 (or alt+f5 x2) when the wiimote disconnects maybe?

Nope, no go. The lights shut off after a few seconds - disconnect/reconnecting do nothing - it's just not paired with Dolphin anymore. Have to restart the process with the other wiimote plugin, but then I get back to your plugin, launch a game and 5 seconds later - gone. Sad

Is your pairing system not in place yet? How is your plugin supposed to connect the real wiimote to the emu?
It is done on plugin initialization or when you hit the "Refresh" button.

Ok, that sounds nice and easy. Unfortunatly it doesn't seem to be working properly - at least with the MS stack. Entering the screen, pressing refresh and 1+2 on wiimote numerous times and trying tens of combinationss, it just never links up like it does with the old plugin.

But again, even after your plugin recognizes the wiimote, entering a game that communication gets shut off. Is there anything else to try? Shall I enter a bug on the google page and see if others are experiencing the same?
