Alright. At first I had the can't init pad plugin problem, but I installed the DirectX thing and now it says it can't create opengl renderer and that I might be missing some required opengl extensions. What's going on?
The instruction at "0x7c9108d3" referenced memory at "0xffffff8". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Alright. I got that all fixed, know I'm getting an unknown opcode. AND NOW it says there's no possible memory base pointer I'm stumped.
I installed the DirectX and the OpenGL things, still nothing.

Edit... Now I'm not getting any errors, just a yellow screen.
So what. You guys can't help?
ERROR: EMT THREAD ALREADY RUNNING! REPORT THIS BUG
No need to quad-post.

What game are you testing, and where's the image from (dumped, compressed, scrubbed etc)?
Did you try a different GFX Plugin when OGL doesn't work?
How about some information about your hardware.

And...How about opening a different thread if your problems persist? This thread was meant as FAQ, not as ask-whatever-you-have-in-mind.

Okay, I'm really new to Dolphin (I just figured it out today) and I have done all the stuff to get rid of the error messages (update DirectX, etc.). I got it to show that health warning thing, although really slowly. Now it's just a black screen. My specs are:
Sony VAIO
Windows XP, Home Edition
Pentium 4 CPU 2.4GHz
1 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 (Sony)

If you need more information, let me know. Mainly I'd like to know whether my video card is compatible with OpenGL, and if I'll have serious problems with only 1GB of RAM.

Thanks!
Edit: I reinstalled Dolphin to go back to the default settings, changed the graphics plugin to Software Renderer since DX9 and OpenGL were giving me problems. I got the Health and Safety Warning, and it ran at 100% there for a little while, but then it didn't advance any, it just stayed at the same screen.
What game are you trying out? Do others work?
Apart from that, I doubt you'll be getting good speeds with those specs. Stick to DX9 if you can, it should be the fastest on that system.

I'm trying Twilight Princess. I haven't tried any others, just because it takes so long to download and unpack them (about 4 hours total). When I run D3D9, it gives me a "No possible memory base pointer found!" error, and a "FBManager::Create Fail: Depth Color Texture" error. Also, with the Software Renderer, I intermittently get errors, or just nothing at all.
Is my CPU just not good enough for Dolphin? Or is it the RAM that's causing problems?
No support for piracy.

Ok. I'm so new to this. Whenever I start Dolphin, it automatically says "Dolphin has stopped working. Windows is looking for a solution." What should I do?

Crashing on launch usually indicates that your cpu doesn't support SSE2, therefore you won't be able to run Dolphin.

If you have an Athlon XP or older then you won't be able to run Dolphin.

Best way to find out if your cpu supports SSE2 is to download CPU-Z and run it, or you can list your specifications.

Well, my specs are in the txt attachment. I don't know them off by heart, so...
With your specifications it should at least run, probably not very well though. Have you tried updating drivers for your graphics hardware, updating DirectX, and installing the latest VC++ Redistributable?
