So I just downloaded the 2.0 file from the Dolphin home page (x64) and it appears that the Gamecube and Wii controller plugins are not being recognized.

Plugin options show no available plugins, and opening the settings for the remote/controller causes the program to crash.

In the plugins folder, there are:
Plugin_GCPad.dll
Plugin_GCPadNew.dll
Plugin_Wiimote.dll

Not sure why they aren't being recognized though. Any ideas?

Can you provide some more information than that? I can't find anything about controller plugins in there, and I read it through at least four times.
Update VC++ and Direct X.

Updating DirectX Optional Components (I believe that's what it installed. My core version was higher than what was provided by the installer I believe...) did the trick.

C++ was already at that version or higher.
