Lol, no. I discovered it almost half a year ago when tomshardware wrote an article about it. For the next month I watched as it exploded in popularity and saw the front page of various tech news sites, gaming news sites, and forums. Then, just like everything else on the web, it died down, yesterday it popped into my head for some reason.
