Hello,

After some time attempting to connect multiple wiimotes (tested fine individually) to my PC through a generic bluetooth dongle and reading through possible solutions on this forum, I have come to the conclusion that my dongle simply doesn't support multiple wiimotes in dolphin. I've tried alt-f6, and both wiimotes are marked as connected in the wiimote plugin. However, when I attempt to play a two-player game, specifically when I press alt-f6, the second wiimote turns black. Could those of you who have successfully used multiple real wiimotes with dolphin let me know which bluetooth dongle you are using?

Thanks,
KoronoXyl

Cool, thanks for the info. From what I've read, it seems that both the Bluesoleil and Microsoft stacks function properly in Dolphin. Does anyone know the exact model of a bluetooth dongle working with multiple wiimotes? Multiplayer functionality in Dolphin will complete my life.
I tried a $0.88 bluetooth dongle from hongkong (it was on dealextreme) 2 days ago and it worked just fine with dolphin.

Maybe the drivers are more of an issue than the dongle itself. I only autoinstalled m$ stack when plugging in, works with 4 motes at the same time.

Yes, that's certainly a possibility. I'm using drivers from Microsoft in Windows 7 x64, and I've also tried the default drivers in Windows 7 x32 with the same device. My bluetooth radio is detected as 'CSR Bluetooth Radio' in device manager. Oh, and I've tried numerous builds, but I'm primarily trying to get this working with the official 2.0 release from the Dolphin team. Thanks for the info, Ocean.

Sad that this topic died off all the sudden.

I'm in the same boat here. Trying to get a second Wiimote to connect. I can get one to work just fine, but a second one wont pair with the computer for some reason. I have 3 different brands of bluetooth dongles, none of them work...

Any ideas?
Try with the Toshiba bluetooth stack. From what i read, it is the best.
You can download it from:

It is a 30 days demo only, use it for testing.
Are you able to pair both wiimotes individually?

I'm about to try dolphin with two wiimotes and just bought this dongle on FocalPrice suggested to me here. Would you swear on the life of Chuck Norris that it works with two remotes, Dynam0? Wink
