Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Once Dolphin is open, click browse and point it at the directory that has Monster Hunters ISO in it.

It will then appear as an entry in the main window.
Right click it and hit properties

Under "Core" put a check mark in "TLB Hack"
(NOTE: CLICK THE BOX UNTIL YOU SEE A CHECK MARK. NOT A SOLID BOX)

Then close and run. That should do it.

Thanks for the reply, that got it working for me.
4830 still works the best for me for some reason.

The only difference with 5192 is, that I get a more stable speed, but a sligthly slower overall FPS (About 4 FPS difference).
Without the SSE3 Build there is a 1 FPS loss from the SSE3 Build.

So if I have around 31 FPS with 4830 with the occasional slowdowns, then I have in 5192 about 28 FPS and 26 FPS when a slowdown would occur.

Core2 Duo 2.8 Ghz
2 GB Ram
GeForce 9400 GT

I always get 20-25 when figthing big monsters or alot of monsters.

I think it's the builds fault b/c I get the same frame-rates on my computer.
(C2Q 9550 @stock. 4g RAM, and an eVGA superclocked gtx 260.)

I have used 5393 and 5423 and i get 20-25 with boths, Which one should i use?
I've used both of those as well and I get the same as you. I guess dolphin hasn't been that optimized for MH tri yet.

Works fine for me, usually 200% in-game
Could you post your build and a screenshot of your settings?

I use default setting recommend on this board.
I use 5423x64MH3

But I have Q9450 @ 3.6Ghz
8GB Ram and ATI 5850

Hello, I am having the same problem but this solution isn't working, and yes I made sure it was checked and not boxed. I see the intro fine at 60fps and I can play smash bro brawl at 60fps but as soon as I hit start game in monster hunter tri the screen stays black and the fps goes down to 0. Any help would be greatly apreciated, I registered in the forums just for this. I am using the newest version of dolphin emu, 2.0

Would you say that because my CPU is running at 2.8 and since dolphin only uses 2 cores, that I would need to over-clock my CPU?
