Are there some options I could check off/on that would increase the speed?

You get more, to see how much, disable FPS limiter, and sound throttling.
Also disable V-Sync in emu settings and Nvidia control panel

Run the game and see how much FPS you get

I was wondering how can I set up two emulated wiimotes... is that even possible to play 2 players in arena with split screen? [there was such a choise]... I have enabled second wii controler but in the game it anyways asks to connect second wii controler...

That sped up the main menu to 200+ fps but I still get mid-low 20's when fighting lots of monsters.

anyone else having problems with savestates?

  1. 1. sometimes when i load a state the "wiimote" gets disconnected and the controls stop working even when i click on "yes" to reconnect it.
workaround seems to be closing the game, restarting, loading a real savegame (no savestate), going to the village, and THEN loading the savestate.

  1. 2. after loading a state, i get the same "wiimote" error as above, except i also have 0 FPS, music is still working though. whenever i get that there's nothing i can do except closing the game and saying goodbye to the savestate.

  1. 3. i also randomly get "Time's up!" and then this message, again a "wiimote" problem ):

wiimote + savestates don't seem to like each other.
also sorry if this was mentioned somewhere, but i couldn't really find anything relevant. is there a fix?

I dont think the savestate issue is only related to MH3, since i got the same problem a "lot" of times playing Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn [WII], and im not sure but i think there isnt any work around for this issue at the moment, not that i have seen at least.

monsterhunter

I've tried 5 different builds (2 of those being from spellforce) and all of them just go to black after I select "Begin the Game"

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Once Dolphin is open, click browse and point it at the directory that has Monster Hunters ISO in it.

It will then appear as an entry in the main window.
Right click it and hit properties

Under "Core" put a check mark in "TLB Hack"
(NOTE: CLICK THE BOX UNTIL YOU SEE A CHECK MARK. NOT A SOLID BOX)

Then close and run. That should do it.
