My FPS is at 30 pretty much all the time (sometimes drops down a bit when a lot's going on, and never goes above 33), but everything looks choppy and not smooth, why is this?

also, are there any fixes out that make the bloom look less bad on dolphin?

Greetings gentlemen.

Played this on the following revisions: 4830 32bit, 4830 64bit, 5393 64bit and 2.0 64bit.

The video is all fine and dandy and silky-smooth (minus the over-the-top bloom and the character model going black if bloom is turned off while moving areas, both extensively documented already). It looks awesome and runs at even my native resolution (1920 x 1080) with no framerate loss whatsoever. All good there then.

My only problem so far is that no matter what I try, the audio lags about half a second behind the video. It does this at low video resolutions, high res, fullscreen and windowed, and I've tried messing with the audio plugin as well, to no avail. Has anyone else encountered this, have you managed to find a solution, or is this just a hardware issue of some description that's probably unique to my machine?

are you playing full screen? you might have to change your resolution settings.

I've tried full screen and windowed, and several different resolutions. THe issue isn't the FPS; I nearly always have 30 FPS and speed @ 100%. the issue is that even with the FPS and speed going well, the game runs choppily/laggy.

Ah, I misunderstood your situation - I thought you meant that the actual graphics were jagged. Since your frame rate looks good, I don't know why the game would be choppy. When I get choppiness, I get a corresponding frame rate drop. Perhaps someone else can chime in.

Hi guys,

I read many pages but I still have a problem. I use Dolphin version 5423 for Monster Hunter Tri. I set the configuration wrote in "readmeMH3" file but when I launch the game the screen is black.
Emulator only works with OpenGL graphics plugin, so in-game it works very badly (2-3-6-7 fps); with Direct3D9 screen is black.

Where Did I fail? ^^

ps.: Yes, my english is not perfect. Forgive me ^^
I got a big surprise, I found a method to increase the large number of fps. I use laptop asus X82S: 2,16ghz cpu, hd3470, 2gb ram. Before I used this config my fps always between 18-20 on the village. However, after I had used this config, the fps jumb to 24-3x. If your computer is better than my laptop, the fps will increase more. I use dolphin 5393M 64bit and win xp 64bit. If you got black screen, press 7

Today I had finish this game ^^. When I find out this way to increase fps I am playing 5 start quest. Use this config make the game run smoother and easy to beat the boss Big Grin

Unfortunately using Direct3D9 I only hear the game sounds but screen remains black even pressing 7. I would like to know why directx 9 doesn't work :/
Hey guys, there is a new Dolphin revisions with updates in gfx plugins, actually native mips support were added. So can someone ask spellforce to build new revision with MH3 fixes and EFB offset patch ?
