No need be a "Grammar Nazi" about it. Anyways back to topic about how EA fails most of the time.

Either somehow EA screwed up, you got a defunk key, somehow you not really paying attention to the whole key correctly (confusing letters and order) or something is just overly screwed up. Where did you buy the game? I tried to tell folks weeks back that they could have gotten the game from the EA online store for 20 dollars for download.
I got it from Gamestop. Yeah i caught a glimpse of the thread you created, and the fools who ruined it. I think i bought the game before seeing the thread.

Just because their are forums full of people with problems does not mean the game is unplayable for anything less than a super minority. Seeing as how they currently have 600% more players playing the game online then they ever had with bf2 I'de say that less than 5% of users are having any kind of problems. I have had 0 issues with this game and play it on a regular basis. Not to mention I can't think of even 1 pc game that doesn't also have forums full of people having problems, so I'll bet if you got a working key you wouldn't run into any more problems, if you do then your just REALLY unlucky.
I have intention of purchasing the game yet again, we'll find out soon enough if EA is secretly out to get me. (I have a list of anticipated games to add to my collection, and this is at the very bottom of it.)

If i don't shoot you, I'm gonna shoot myself. Sad

Every time you call them with a problem regarding the psp or ps3, they have "never heard of it". Apparently, they've been taught to say that, even if the problem is shared by tens of thousands of people.
It even took them a while to admit that some of their earliest firmwares were bricking consoles, and just said they are 'individual' problems.

I'm not a fanboy of any 1 manufacturer, but compared to nintendo or even m$, Sony have an abysmal attitude towards the customer that pays their salaries.

Yeah there's definitely some kind of conspiracy going on. I don't blame them for doing what they are told, but those who instill such in their minds.

Well.. any failure company or franchise, this thread doesn't have specific guidelines to follow. I just created this to get some opinions on my problem, seems we're done with that.

jeffdacosta

very interesting information, thanks for sharing.
Just bought another copy of the game (this time from newegg), and all is well as it should be.
Splinter Cell Conviction ain't all that bad either Tongue
I bought EA Cricket 07.....i mean, yuck..
EA makes games or what???? The only EA game I like is Road Rash:p

alteast Brian Lara 2007 was there to save me...sigh
Developer is far more important than the publisher. I never really understood why when EA releases a shit game people say things like "I will never buy an EA game again! Let's boycott them!". They act like EA made the game, they didn't, they only published it.
Cric 07 was developed by EA Canada, a EA subsidiary, so EA makes games or what...?????

Never mind NFS, and FIFA series ( they are the only awesome things by EA)
EA does make games since they bought a few a few developers like dice but most of the games that are associated with them on the web are merely published by them.
Yeah, whatever...I do not know that much about development of games...but I understood a bit.
I mean the games EA releases somewhat lags behind their competitors counterparts...Like Cricket. FIFA series is somewhat good and common, but PES promises some stunning things....(i want FIFA street). But both NFS and FIFA are somewhat irresistible packages from EA...

And EA sports somewhat makes better games from EA games...(save for exceptions, they are everywhere)
That's my opinion till now...I am in 10th class now. Don't know so much..
