Hello.

This is a quick question about the Dolphin Emu. I'm currently playing Monster Hunter Tri, but in crowded areas my FPS tend to plummet. Do any of you have this working properly, without these FPS drops? If so, could you guide me through it?

Thank you.

I have a Radeon Ati 5970
i7 920 CPU
6GB RAM

I was using 4830 which enabled me to run it. I just get really shit Framerates,15-30. I've read alot of guides on here and nothing seems to be helping, so I really need the help of somebody who has got it running smoothly.

My settings always differ since I'm following different guides.
Disable I7 Hyper-Threading on your Bios since dolphin only use 2 core(I heard this way would increase some FPS but not much)
Enable EFB copy to texture(dolphin-graphic setting)
Frame limit off

blasras

I'm using the 4830 rev, did this, and now is working almost flawlessly, so far I'm killing big jaggis with lots of adds on screen and there's no noticeable slowdown anymore.

settings I have are, enable dual core, frame limit off, TLB hack, Direct 3d plugin; the two options that boosted more my performance, were turning safe texture cache off, and as the above poster suggested enable EFB copy to texture. Heart

hope this helps, I'm loving this game so much, I've had 0 crashes, except when I try to go into online mode obviously, and surprised it works better than most 3d games I've tried before like Twilight Princess.

Unforunately neither works for me, it doesn't matter what I enable or disable (Apart from the obvious settings that prevent crashes), it just keeps having the same avg FPS. Disabling bloom, changing the resolution or anything has no effect on it. I can play it with AA and it doesn't change any bit. Dodgy

I'm on a AMD X2 6000 (2x 3,0 GHz), 3 GB RAM, Nvidia GTS250 1024 MB, Windows 7 32Bit. I'm at around 53% max speed after loading my character and watching it for 1 minute. Using Spellforce's REV 4380.

My friend on the other hand has an AMD Dualcore with 2,2, some old radeon and 1,5GB and can play the game fine (100%, no slow downs), he has the same settings I made for him. He's on Windows 7 64Bit.
seems like everyone running 64 bit OSes have it running smooth, and the 32 bit guys are all having slowdowns and such

i get slowdowns down to 15 fps myself when theres alot in a zone. running a phenom 9850 and a gtx 260 on vista 32. thinking about trying a 64 bit OS
I'm running the game smooth 30fps here with WinXP 32bit. Using the Spellforce R4830. Got an e6600@3.2GHz, gtx260, 2 GB ram.
Could someone post a link to the spellforce 4830 version?
