Yup that works.
Also are you sure that / disables the bloom? Doesnt seem to work here.
yeah definitely, it's like day and night. It's a little too dark though when you turn the bloom off

thanks.
in 4830 you can disable bloom with / (numpad) be sure to only enable it at the start of a hunt after loading or you'll end up with a pitch black character texture.

you can fix this problem by turning bloom on before you leave/back village and turn it off again!
My problem is that the / key does not turn off the bloom...

I have the 4830M version.
I just realized that Spellforce has made a R4830 for MH3. Before I just downloaded a random R4830 off of google. The game now works with English, I can return to the village and bloom can be disabled with the "/" button.
About the black skin texture, I noticed that whenever the game transitions after a loading screen, it turns the skin texture black. But, this only happens when bloom is turned off. If I turn bloom on and the game goes through a loading a screen, my character is normal, no black texture. However, if bloom is disabled and the game goes through a loading screen, the black texture is there. So basically anytime I know the game is going to transition to a loading screen, like when beginning a quest or ending a quest. I just enable bloom and then disable bloom after the loading.

you can turn bloom off with D3d Plugin only! if you use Laptop maybe Fn+0 = /
the patched one does not even run the game, and 4830 runs just as bad as before. And I still don't have a clue where to get the d3d plugin ive been looking for it
Update your directx and it will appear at Graphic Config
