I've experience that thing when i disable all cores of my i7 (only one running). The crash appear when the cpu is overloaded. When i've enable again all cores it doesn't crash. So i think, it's because new rev of dolphin use much more cpu, try to disable everything like your antivirus (if you are playing offline of course), and try without wiimote to test what i'm saying! Try also to disable audio throttle and some options in dolphin.
Thanks, Ive just installed windows 7. Now different problem but similar, If I load a save, it loads but all I get is sound and no picture. Either that or it just crashes saying dirext9 encountered an error. But most of the time just loads with sound and no picture.
I ran into the same problem last night (and I was at Ganon's Tower in Wind Waker, so you can imagine I was more than annoyed that I might lose my game that far in).
I'd been running the stable 2.0 release on my computer (XP SP3, 2gb ram, Intel Core2 Quad @ 2.39GHz) and save states were working in other games but not Wind Waker. I knew it wasn't the game/ISO, I had other save states from different parts of the game and suddenly none of them would load at all after working perfectly fine for quite a while (pretty much the entire length of the game to be honest).
I was able to fix my problem by copying the saved states from ...\Win32\User\StateSaves to a safe place and deleting and re-unzipping the program and copying the states back to the same location (note: make sure you copy anything else you'd need as well, memcard saves, etc).
Now it works great! Had to re-program my controller settings and that's about it! Hope this is of help to you or anyone else with the same problem...
PS- sory for my poor english k thk bye lolz
