How can a plugin which crashes randomly in games where the OpenGL one doesn't be better and "stable"? Granted you use CG in OpenGL which is inferior to GLSL but still with that non-optimal solution it performs better.
yeah what he said Tongue
I've tested this on a system used for game development. I doubt it's a configuration issue. It's specific to this emulator. For example the ps2 emu works without a problem with DX9 so do all other games I tested on this machine. It's solely this emulator. I have a hard time to believe all other apps are just "lucky". But whatever, I get the point. Since you classify my results (in this case and the other cases I mentioned on the forum) as "worthless" I don't see why I should continue testing.
I don't really get the DX fuzz here, the console uses its own fork of OpenGL, so OGL should give more accurate results to original console, so why not make it better?

OGL is better than DX anyways <_<, its just the marketing scheme that makes GFX Card producers do bad OGL Support.

Don't turn this into an argument, Hardware plays a big roll, as well as personal opinion, I don't like Direct X, and neither does he, and that is our decision, we respect your decision to use direct X and we won't bash you for it, we would rather have accuracy than speed(although I get a speed boost in some games). That is why we prefer Open GL.

But to add to your statement, If DX9 is so good, why have they replaced it 2 times, now there is DX11, and I still don't like it.
D3d9 faster than OpenGL but still lag in game too much .For example, In Mario Kart Wii before racing and final lap,the emu almost freeze.Opengl can use XFB which is native resolution to fix screen-flicking ,D3D9 not. Some 3D game D39 graphic better but some not .D3D9 still cause trouble with anti-alias x9 (create texture fail)
Both plugin have their own advance so I think that the reason the dev keep using them
the dr3d plugin can use xfb.
@yoshifan they made dx10 and dx11 because they wanted to upgrade dx even more for better grafx, speed.

There is not even a game that supports DX11 in-game rendering yet (and very few that barely use dx10), so how can you know if you like it? There are only demos and benchmarks that utilize a fraction of the texture and wireframe features directx11 uses. The only well known game that is going to utilize it in the near future is Crysis 2.

It can't be compared to opengl 2.0 standard or dx9 which are technologically inferior.

The results can vary greatly for each user because people have different graphics cards. Let me remind you XBOX 360 for example is using a custom ati graphics card that runs on directx9 (the very name of the console is derived from DirectXBox which is developed by Microsoft). For many people it will also produce superior textures on dolphin and pcsx2 emulators. Even the PS3 console which runs rsx nvidia custom chip is using DX9.
Saying OpenGL 2.0 is "inferior" to DX is rather an insult... especially since OpenGL 4.0 is the latest.
