when I try to play a wii-game (Super SmashBros Brawl) without a wiimote (instead using a (an?) xbox-controller (as GC-controller)), Dolphin warns me after a few minutes playing, that the wiimote is disconnected... well, I didn't connect the wiimote. This is a bit annoing, but not that worse.

@Killersnake432
Well, that this happens is no suprise to me,
this is nothing special... kind of expected:
I mean, this is a special (unusual) case, I mean, which wii-game can be played without a wiimote, but with a GC-controller?
There arn't so many.
Dolphin was programmed to check if the wiimote 1 is connected while playingg a wii-game, to garantee its functionality ('cause as I mentioned, dolphin expects that you use a wiimote to play a wii-game)
...

Oh, sry if I misunderstood you: at first I interpreted your sentence "thought it was just me at first" as "I think this just happens to me because of my PC/dolphin-installl", but if you meaned "I thought I was the only one trying to play a wii-game without a wiimote & noticing that bug",
you could forget this hole post
try disconnecting it as soon as the game starts with Alt+F5

Originally I wasn't searching a way to prevent the (alert-) window to appear (but it's maybe usefull for the other users until it is fixed), instead I wanted to request a fix (with low priority) preventing dolphin to check if the wiimote is disconnected, after it was "never" connected.
The section has "questions" in the name so they think they can post any question here, and as we all know people do not really take the time to read and understand what it is they're doing.
Agreed, which is why I propose that this section be renamed to "Site Related Feedback" with a brief description what the section is intended for, seems to have worked quite well for Ngemu.
I also thought the moderators were closing any threads requesting support for the emulator and games or anything not directly related to the site that was posted in this section?
