Anybody know why I can't download the plugin?

Because you do not have enough posts.

Also that plugin is deprecated, Dolphin doesn't even use plugins anymore and the fix that plugin contained has been integrated in Dolphin for at least the past 1,500 - 2,000 revisions. Just download the latest revision or any of the past 1,000+ revisions.

For reference, I updated the thread title to reflect that the patches are of no use anymore.

Meh, maybe we should just close it altogether

Please do! This thread have done it's share and is only of interest for reference and reading purposes.

oh, I just thought that since I get no music during the title screen or cutscenes with HLE and music constantly skips with LLE that I needed this patch (redirected here from the dolphin wiki).

For me the music works just fine with LLE, I like to listen to the intros in games from time to time and I haven't heard any skipping.

this thread reminds me of my pain, never able to play the game on pc properly. with core i7 920

wish HLE can be hacked for this game, or maybe zelda two

How fast does your coimputer have to be to run the music without skipping?

My setup looks like this
Intel Core i7-930 (8MB L2 Cache, 2.80GHz)
12GB DDR SDRAM
ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB GDDR5
