Correct I did not read any rules, who does? I saw a link to Dolphin on crunch gears blog, came here, downloaded it and started looking for info on HOW to play games with it. I had no intension of piracy, etc. I was simply asking because I did not know. I think it's very presumptuous of admin to ban my account for a simple question.
Now if I posted a link to a ripped disk, then yes, that would be different.
All I did was ask a question. Not cool.
Also, who says I wasn't looking for freeware roms? You guys had no solid reason to ban my account.
Quote:Warez talk is prohibited and frowned upon, to prevent legal issues. You may not post links or refer to any kind of BIOS, ISO, Game that has been illegally obtained or shared.
Furthermore, discussion pertaining to "ROM"s is only allowed when it relates to the DSP.

Who makes shareware roms anyways? xD It's copyrights stealing from companies who created the game by user who sells ROM file. It's easier to get the damn disc.

I have same problem Confused

I did not refer to any of those. And there are freeware roms all over the net.
And I don't have a problem buying disks, I do it all the time. I simply DID NOT KNOW how dolphin runs games. I have never seen an emu that plays original disks, so i assumed it played roms.
I am surprised this account is not already banned for arguing with you.

Whatever, in the end it's not my forum or my decision who gets banned, I just think it's extremely bad business to presume things without a trace of fact to back up your decision.
I'll let everyone know about this issue at Crunchgears web site, thanks so much.

Where is everyone getting the games?

i don't see how you don't think someone could construe this as asking for piracy.

Actually every emulator that emulates consoles that uses cds do use original disks too to play them, or almost every one Tongue
