Hello there,
I learned from this emulator from a friend, who plays wii games without lag,

but I tried to play TP I got from him, and I can only get 2-3 FPS!!
This are my specs:
1. Windows XP Pro. SP3
2. Intel Celeron @ 2.67 ghz (r4300i)
3. Nvidia Geforce 5500 FX (256 MB)
4. Using RC1 Dolphin V2.0

Is there any way to get at least 7 fps on the emulator (by using correct builds and tweaks)? It would really make me happy on my birthday today if I could play Zelda decently.

Thanks.
Your Dolphin configuration?

Use Direct3D9 plugin, try enabling EFB copy to Texture, disabling fog, disabling CPU>EFB access, use JitIL recompiler.

Thanks for your reply, other than JitIL I already had those settings you said,
FPS is still dramatically low Sad

well with a celeron and an fx5500 you won't do much friend. even in my pc playing NORMAL games on dolphin is hard, forget about Zelda TP which is quite demanding.

disable audio throttle and RE0 hack.
i doubt you'll get more than 10fps with zelda TP at least
and your pc is kinda weak so the best thing to do right now is to get a better one
Yeah sorry, your PC is far too weak and I'm afraid you won't see much better speed that you are currently seeing. I am a bit surprised that you can even start any games, since the Geforce FX series is not supported by Dolphin. The FX series never properly supported DirectX 9 and Shader Model 2.0 so consider yourself lucky that you can even start any games.

So your only choices are to buy or build a new PC that meets or exceeds the minimum/recommended requirements to run Dolphin acceptably. Zelda Twilight Princess is quite demanding, especially when you go through Hyrule Field later in the game and your current specifications just isn't going to cut it or give you any kind of decent performance.
