Hi to all,
I read very well all the threads about Dolphin Emulator (for example here: http://thepurplecube.org/index.php/topic,356.0.html)

but without results. Sad
All the time that I try to start a game with Dolphin I read the same messages:

"Can't init any PAD plugins" (I can't select the pad plugins in options... but the plugins are inside the plugins folder!)

and

"Can't init the core. Check your configuration"

I installed all the DirectX 9.0c updates from this link: (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...layLang=en)

and from this: (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...layLang=en)

I also download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable.
I updated my video driver with the latest version (Ati Catalyst 10.3 X64 hotfix for AGP).
I try to use different versions, now also with the Dolphin 5240 x64, but nothing to do!

The errors are always the same. Sad

This is my configuration with Windows 7 Ultimate x64:

ASUS K8N
Athlon 64 3200+ (socket 754)
Ram 1 Gb DDR 400
ATI Radeon HD 3650 AGP GDDR3 512 Mb

Thanks in advance, sorry for my poor english
Open up the Configuration Screen and select the Plugins from the last tab.
In case they are missing, check if they are present in the Plugins folder.

Thanks Jack Frost. Yes, the plugin are present:

Plugin_DSP_HLE.dll
Plugin_DSP_LLE.dll
Plugin_GCPad.dll
Plugin_nJoy_SDL.dll
Plugin_PadSimple.dll
Plugin_VideoDX9.dll
Plugin_VideoOGL.dll
Plugin_VideoSW.dll
Plugin_Wiimote.dll

I'm desperate!!! Huh

I also downloaded the last DirectX 2010 form here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...laylang=en

Always the same error messages Angry

I thinked about this: 3 months ago I download xinput1_3.dll, xinput1_2.dll, xinput1_1.dll and xinput9_1_0.dll to play GTA4 with my joypad, these dll are emulating the xbox controller and I copied these DLL to the folder windows\system32.

Is this the problem??!
I tried with Dolphin 3402 and it works!!! Big Grin

Finally! But it's not so fast... I hope I'll can use the latest Dolphin version in the future!
Do those plugins show up on the Configuration screen? If not, can you look at the log? You might have to recompile as Debug or DebugFast and switch to loglevel "Debug" to get more information. Something starting with "DL: " in category COMMON.
Try updating the DirectX again , nothing should be wrong if you have the DirectX updated
