So this may be the reason cause no matter how powerful Ur hardware is U can't cross some things on 32 bits. I think that the only possibility to speedup Ur game is to go for 64bit os and dolphin.
hmm
the problem is my 32bit os?

but is there no other possibility to run it on my 32bit os ?

U've wrote that U've tried all possible options - dual core, disabling sound.
Are U using opengl or directx plugin?
Edit: ok I've found some info that U may use opengl graphics plugin and if so I don't know any other solution than go for 64bits.
the most time i've used the opengl plugin, but also the directx plugin (buggy^^)

i'm looking forward for a 64bit os Smile

Should help U a lot. I've found that difference between 32 and 64 bits is even double the fps.
I forgot, as I know best for dolphin is Windows XP64, Vista cause some slowdown.

btw, just because you have a quad core doesn't mean that the speed gets multiplied 4 times Smile, it's still a quad-core with a speed of 3GHz (not 12 GHz Tongue)

yeah i know
if 4 cars drive 300km/h they drive together still 300km/h ^^

but 2 cores can manage the emulator, the other 2 cores can mangage the os and other aplications in background it is FASTER but not so much ^^
the 2 cores for the emulator are free from other calculates.

Yupp, and for dolphin + os 2 cores are more than enough cause the fastest possibility is os on 1 core and dolphin + game on second. As I've found out Intel processors are much slower than AMD so if U got Intel cloked on 3.12GHz it's something like AMD on 2.4GHz maybe. Best results I've seen in dolphin were on Phenom II.

thieske66

go to configure and enable dual cores! ^^
thats solved the problem for me Smile
