When I tried to launch a game, I got 2 errors. The first one did not seem to be a big problem because after it the game still continued but after the second one caused the game to go black.
Error 1: Could not copy Sys/Wii/setting-eur.txt to ./User/Wii/title/00000001/00000001/data/setting.txt
Error 2: CWII_IPC_HLE_Device_fs: couldn't create new file
Can someone help get the game to work?
It looks like the dolphin folders are "read-only", change them back to normal folder and see what happens
Well, everytime I change the folder from being Read Only, it changes back to Read Only. It is probably some stupid security stuff for Windows 7 but that means I can not make it not Read Only. Do you know how I can fix this?

Did you click apply?
If that doesn't work try extracting it in another folder ( or extract it with another compressor )
Set permissions on the dolphin folder, sub folders and files or run as an administrator. Both can be done by right clicking the folder and selecting properties, very easy to do and only takes seconds.
I found out why it keeps changing back to read only, I never disabled it and it won't let. It says I need administrator rights but I'm the administrator! How do I fix this problem?
Do what I said, by default Windows Vista and Windows 7 run all accounts in limited user mode for security reasons. You need to grant access to the Dolphin folder for your user account or run as an administrator like I mentioned.
Run as an administrator would probably be the best choice, right click the Dolphin exe, select properties, click the compatibility tab, click Change settings for all users, check the run this program as an administrator box, click apply and then click ok.
THANKS!!! It worked. Now I have a question that has nothing to do with this thread. Does the emulator require a wii remote or can it be used with just a keyboard and mouse?
