So it looks like the beast is being revealed at long last the 3DS, thanks to Mark MacDonald's twitter (Executive Director of 8-4 Ltd., a video game localization company) who linked to a Nintendo document on their Japanese website mentioning the handheld, which is to be officially revealed at E3 2010 in June.

The handheld, which has been titled the 'Nintendo 3DS' will use 3D screen technology without the use of any glasses or headgear, is set for release in the fiscal year ending March 2011. The system is set to feature backwards compatibilty with both the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi. Also the handheld has been said to be as powerful as the Gamecube.

If it is that powerful with 3D as well then damm Nintendo might release an absolute powerhouse for their next home console.

I hope this means the new psp will be announced soon then Tongue
I don't think so it seems that Sony is thinking of discontinuing the PSP Go in favor of their new PSPhone which would pretty much leave Nintendo as the only company with a 100% handheld gaming console
There's 3G rumors for Nintendo's consolle though, it could turn into a phone...
That would be sweet the only phone around what can legally play Mario, Zelda and Metroid
AWESOME! can't wait to see some pics or concept art or smth like that...

I'm holding completely out on this. This will be the 2nd time for nintendo into the 3d front like this. I'm not to big on the whole 3d experience that has blasted the market in last years (pc and tv). I'm gonna wait and see how this really turns out.
