It's not going to do you any good. You also have a crappy power supply, so it's not even advised to OC that card. Instead focus on your CPU since it's going to give you more of a performance boost than the card would.

You really won't be able to get much of an overclock out of your card, maybe 20 MHz for the clock and memory, and that's it. You won't be able to do a huge overclock on the CPU either most likely, but it'd still be better than the Graphic Card OC.

you're not so right...i was able to take the core clock of my gpu from 425mhz to 520mhz no problem...but i asked bcuz i wanted to know what effects dolphin'd have
Like I and others already said, it'll have little to no effect on Dolphin overclocking that card.

Behonest idk whats my PSU and it did increase my FPS by 20? but this was back in 2007 when I try run SSBM on dolphin so idk but it did in GTA IV by 20 fps xD my old video card was a 6100 on board GPU =|...
There is not a chance you can get 20fps boost by overclocking video card, especially in GTAIV, so that's odd. Even by professional overclocker using liquid nitrogen to cool a card you can gain maybe 4-5fps (with gtx295 or radeon 5970 card that cost $400-$600), and a few hundred score marks in 3d06.

But if you meant in comparison to a geforce 6000 series card, that's possible because it will get barely 10fps in gtaiv.

You can view PSU capacity if you open the cover, it states on the sticker in watts. If it has 400 or so, that's enough even if you upgrade a card. Supplies such as 750, 1000W are very overmeasured and unnecessary, given that even the best consumer grade pc's available now, consume a max of about 500 watts if under full stress in games like crysis or video editing etc.
You know my PC always 24/24 all days,i'm not sure gfx OC will increase any difference . OC caused my gfx damage ,i went to the shop to change a new one(9800gt),never think of OC again

he was saying he switched from onboard video to 8400gs and gained 20fps
@admin89, my gpu is @ 0 grades celcius Tongue and when i oc it goes 5 grades celcius Tongue
It's a broken censor obviously. Otherwise it would be freezing cold to the touch. And components can't be below room temperature on air cooling.
