i have problems with mario galaxy.
If i enable cpu efb access from the graphic window after that i've already started the game, i'm not able to pull the stars.
If i enable it before loading the game, it works, but even if i disable it the framereate does not increase.

EFB->CPU access doesn't use too much processing power, so you won't get any FPS increase/decrease
Sorry for reviving this old thread but it's exactly the same jgas said.
When I play SMG in the first world at the starting point I got something like ~45fps. When I disable CPU->EFB access my FPS jump to ~72, but my mouse remains useless after this.
Is there any way to find a solution? Keep nearly the FPS without the cursor being suspended?
no cpu->efb is zone loading releated,u have to leave map (zone) and re-enter with enabled or disabled.
Can anyone tell me where do I find CPU->EFB?
Working on a fix for this issue. Only affects DX9, DX11 works fine already.
well if i started the game with it disabled and i reached a pull star i just went in the graphics plugin config and enabled it - speed decreases and everything, and i'm able to use the pull star or catch star bits. when i am finished i just disable it from the plugin config again and the speed is back to normal.

Yeah, the problem is just... You can't do this in DX9 since the option will only be applied upon the start of a game.
Unless I'm missing something obvious, that is.
