The next time you wonder if there will be ever a state where all games will work flawless on dolphin, consider this:

http://www.ps3comp.com/

Not even Sony themselves can make a PS2 emulator for their newer console that fully works with all games. A lot of games are listed in the same fashion as on dolphin (perfect, playable, some issues, major issues, unplayable).

However, casual coders working on the PCSX2 emulator have achieved compatibility for games that will not even go past boot on PS3. Also, not all Xbox games can be emulated with the 360 either.

So don't get discouraged.. There is not in fact even a n64 emu that can flawlessly play all games (project64 can play about 70-80% perfect), except the one made by Nintendo for the Wii, and that's a system with 4MB of ram and 93.75mhz processor.
Nintendo's N64 emulator is not perfect either Mario Kart 64 on the Wii can't save ghost data and the PAL version of Super Smash Bros has Framerate issues unlike the NTSC version which always runs at full speed.
It's not the same having 10 coders and some betatesters, than having 30 coders and over 9000 code reviewers.

Now, if they can't even make decent PC ports, how can we expect them to write emulators?
Maybe because they changed the CPU architectures, unlike the wii that uses the same PPC architecture from the GC
Games I tryed on my PS3 works fine besides slowdowns in it xD... But they dont make PS3s like this anymore why PS3's gone cheaper cuz they took out the backwards comparability and new looks *woot for my 80 GB fat PS3?* O_o
No emulator is perfect Tongue

Thats true. I have yet to seen a perfect one! Besides Wii one o.O? If that counts as one lol xD
I don't think they tried very hard in trying to make the PS2 emulator. I'm sure they could have made it better if they really wanted to. It was probably just thrown together quickly since the PS2 is not really a priority with the PS3 out.
Wasn't PS2 emulation one of the reason's why the PS3 was so expensive when it was launched didn't they have to include the PS2 graphic's card in the original PS3's because they could not emulate it.
