Thats true, because my PS2 used to run PERFECT!! no lag glitches were harder to do...

But 6/7 (Lol haven't been counting got it when i was 6 so yeah its been a while) years later it now has lags sometimes normally happens when alot of stuff is on the screen and glitches are easier to do so yeah

Other then Dolphin's graphics dolphin is horrible!!! Lol its weird i save up money for Wii Games to play on dolphin but ive never saved for the real console (Lol.. think ill save up for the console now Considering i cant even play dolphin in HD it doesnt run on my PC O_O weird im gonna get a wii )

The Wii can barely play games online. And even then, virtually all online interaction is a watered-down experience. With the exception of Animal Crossing: City Folk, you can't communicate with other players (as far as I know). Even though the Wii has online capabilities, there is no dedicated online service. Based on Nintento's recent track record in regards to how they handle online play, it's safe to assume that they have no intention of building any sort of real online network.
Although it's still a looong ways away, one day there will be a proper dedicated online service for Dolphin. And for me, eventually is better than never.

Hardware failure of consoles also largely depends on:

1. Luck (did you get a good batch of console)
2. How you handle it.

About 95% depends on #2. I still have two NES systems and snes that will boot up just fine and play without problems. These have been played a LOT, and the other console (nes) started production before I was even born.

Many times online, I search what causes hardware failures on computers, new gen consoles etc.. It's almost always user negligence. Such as placing console/PC in a place where it's practically a vacuum cleaner (it gets totally filled with dust), it has been dropped, bad power supply was used, etc..

Of course luck factor exists, and there's no denying that. I had a hard-drive die after 2 hours of usage last year. But so much depends on how you treat the hardware and where you place it.

Let it ventilate, clean it from dust (preferably also internal parts, every 2-3 months), if you are very cautious then place a cover on it overnight or long periods when you don't use it. Don't shake it. Some people don't apply common sense; If you put a console/PC in a place where the exhaust hot air can't escape, you are slowly destroying it & placing unnecessary strain on it. This alone probably causes a huge amount of hd, ram, gpu failures.

Also if you have dogs or other furry animals in the house, for heavens sake clean the console from dust, particles & hair more often. Leave your 360/wii/ps3/pc clogged for years and it will probably die randomly any day for a wide range of reasons.

This is what your laptop/pc/console's heatsink looks like inside, if you haven't cleaned it for the last 12 months

Well once Dolphin finally runs EVERY Wii & Gamecube game in HD at FULL speed dolphin will be better =/

leozack

Same games, like Grand Slam Tennis and Monster Hunter Tri, are/will be more interesting online... It is still the only reason why I haven't sold my Wii and replaced it with the Dolphin.
