Does it fix the Rumble problem on 64bit, i.e. does it work finally??
Can someone compile this for me so other (non-self-compilers) can try? Thanks!!

Rumble
should work on 64bit

.
I don't have any proper gamepads to test it.
Here's a compiled version so you can test it:
DOWNLOAD (code from patch 2)
I'd like to know if it does work or not, and which gamepad you tested with.
I tried FZero GX and it didn't rumble. Do I have to change some option or is rumble automatically on ?
The "motor" field is empty :-(
All x64 here.

You need to click the "+" by motor, click "list", choose which forces you want, and hit "set".
I have a serious bug report.
I launch Dolphin, go to your plugin's config, I press List and it has SDL... and Directinput/Keyboard. After I launch a game, STOP the emulation and reopen the config, there's no SDL option.
EDIT: What are those "constant" and "ramp" settings ? I tried both and no rumble.

Thanks, i'll try to figure out that bug. I blame SDL

Constant and Ramp are just two types of forces. On gamepads sometimes they are different motors.
Which gamepad are you using which doesn't work?

You have forgotten me so soon ?
How is that OIS business going ?
I remembered your face, just forgot you mentioned which controller you had.

My only force feedback gamepad doesn't work at all with an x64 binary, not even when using straight DirectInput, so it makes it hard to test.
The x86 version of my plugin works with my pad for rumble so I hoped it would work for other peoples' pads in x64. I might just need to set some more parameters in the force effect to make it compatible with more pads. Currently, I only set the force level and time. Other pads might require more options set. Later this week I will try to borrow my friends gamepad and make it work with rumble in x64.
I fixed the bug you discovered with the SDL devices not showing up after using the config without a game running.
OIS doesn't seem to work at all for me with x64, not even buttons. But it worked for you for rumble, so idk.
No rumble in 64 bit here either. I go to Rumble +, open the list, but it's just empty. Everything else with the controller is recognized and works properly, just not rumble.
Using a X360 controller with XBCD 2.6 DirectInput drivers.
Hope you can get this working once and for all! Can't wait to play Fzero (only playable on 64bit) with rumble finally!! Good luck man and let me know if you need anything tested!!!

XBCD drivers are what I am using with my orignal Xbox gamepad for testing force feedback and I can't get ff working at all in x64. I'm thinking that the XBCD drivers don't work with force feedback in x64. I would just use the regular Microsoft XInput drivers for your X360 controller, then you would have full rumble support.
