wait ill check(will edit this post).
edit:
Its the same issue for R5421 and even 5383. I also noticed that it does not register those faulty UP movements as long as dolphin is NOT running a (gc) game.
I reinstalled the drivers and now even the "TiherGame NGC to USB Box 1 Properties" window displays the incorrect dpad up as soon as a game is running.
this does not happen with the windows drivers, but without the official drivers, theres no rumble

OK, I'll check if there is an issue with some devices when updating too often.
That's the only difference that I can see between the config window and the game.
The game would update input more often.
When running the game and opening the config window, do your buttons flash on/off when you hold them in? Or axes?
yes, the analog stick sometimes jumps around for just 1frame. i dont see the any button flicker, but it seems they do, as constantly pressing a can navigate you through thousands of menus in which you would have to release the a button first before you press again to navigate

Can you test this and see if it's fixed? I'll commit it if it works.
Tell me if you need an x86 version.
the issue prevails

could the official drivers be broken? ms drivers work, just without rumble...

If it works fine in the windows control panel gamepad status thingy, it's something that I'm doing wrong. :p

windows driver:
works perfectly with dolphin having a game running. displays buttons and analogue correctly in win cp and plugin settings. only rumble does not work.
official driver:
control panel in windows has broken analogue stick display(I emailed them about this issue), but displays key strokes and the main analogue stick correctly as long as dolphin doesn't run any game.
as soon as i run a game, the dpad up button starts to flicker both in dolphin plugin settings and the control panel in windows. both win cp and plugin settings display keystrokes/analogue movement in sync, even the error strokes.
Do you have this problem when using the old input plugins that use SDL?
I'll try to find some other possible causes of the issue.
the old plugin "Dolphin GCPad Plugin" works perfectly, but i can't use it, as the y-axis of the c-stick is mirrored and no individual directions are possible
any news? and should i open a issue on the google page with an detailed description?
