I experienced a similar thing in Basketball (only in the Pickup Game, but seemingly in every revision): I can pass with the A Button oder the directional keys, but the B-Button for shooting shows no response! Makes it a tiny bit unplayable
Has anyone else found this, any ideas?

ok, lets see if my english is good enough for your question:
open dolphin
right click on sports resort
click properties
click filesystem
open partition0
open sys
look for RVL-NigaoeNR-v6.wad and rightclick on it
choose extract the file
extract to same folder where the sportsresort.iso is
maybe you have to close dolphin and start again, not sure
...and there it is: the mii channel
start it like any other game and create mii, you will find him/her/them in the game

Ive got a blackscreen after the Choicemenu "Wii Sports" or "Wii Sports Resort"
i use a real Wii remote Plus (zelda SS)

Do you have a NAND dump installed in Dolphin? If not, maybe try downloading 00000001/00000038 from NUSD and installing it using the "Install WAD" command in Dolphin.
